We’re now just two months away from the official start of the Heli Ski Season at Silverton Mountain. We wanted to share the opening day and pricing information with anyone who doesn’t already know. More than just not missing the start of the season, for anyone eyeing this spot for their first ski trip of the year, this information can help you decide when, how, how often, and with whom you visit Silverton Mountain.

What about Season Passes?

If you want a Full Season Pass at Silverton Mountain, known as the Gold Pass, you need to get on the waitlist by calling 970-387-5706. Even still, the $199 Spring Unguided Pass has always sounded like one of the best package deals outside of the major resort/big-ticket/full-season passes from Vail and Alterra. If you decline to buy a regular full-season pass elsewhere, but are looking to get in a lot of skiing at the end of the season, this is likely your best bet. Here’s what the Spring Unguided Season Pass includes:

Access to the mountain for the following Unguided dates.

Wednesday, March 20 (Passholder-Only Private Mountain Day)

March 21-24

March 28-31

April 4-7

April 11-14

$89 Standby Guided Skiing/Snowboarding during Guided Season.

A one-time $39 heli drop to Grassy Bowl or Butter Bowl!
